Why the FSC Team Plays Sent Instead of Skate
We don't play SKATE at FSC. We play SENT. Four letters, faster game, and I only need 4 letters to spank that ass. Here's why.

Why The FSC Team Plays SENT Instead of SKATE
And honestly once you hear the reason you're probably switching too.
Nobody Actually Finishes a Game of SKATE Anymore
Five letters. Think about that. When's the last time you actually saw a full game of SKATE play out start to finish? Not just a few rounds before someone's phone buzzes or the session naturally drifts into just skating. An actual completed game.
It doesn't happen like that anymore. The format is too long for how skaters actually move through a session in 2026. You're not stationary. You're not waiting. And your attention span — be honest — wasn't built for a five-letter commitment just to get a game in.
SKATE had its run. It's a classic. But the format is quietly dying and nobody's really said it out loud yet.
So We Invented SENT
At FSC we play SENT. Four letters. S-E-N-T.
That's it.
The concept came straight out of our culture — "sent" means you fully committed. You didn't half-step it. You threw yourself at the trick and went for it. That's the energy we built this whole thing on, so it only made sense to name the game after it.
Four letters means the game actually gets finished. It means when you're at the park and you ask somebody to run it, they actually say yes instead of making a face like you just asked them to commit to something. It moves faster. You play more games. You get more flat ground reps in without even realizing it.
Why Four Letters Is Better Than Five
Here's the real math on it.
More completed games means more reps. More reps means your basics get sharper without it feeling like a drill. The shorter format keeps both players locked in the whole time instead of mentally checking out halfway through because the game's dragging.
It's also just easier to get people to play. That matters more than it sounds. The game only works if you can find an opponent. A four-letter game is a way smaller ask. Lower friction, more action, better sessions.
And at the end of the day — I only need 4 letters to spank that ass anyway.
Sent Is FSC's Game
This isn't a hack of SKATE. This is our game, built by our team, rooted in what FSC is actually about — committing fully, skating with your people, and not overthinking it.
If you're playing SKATE in 2026 and it keeps dying out before it's over, try SENT. Four letters. Faster game. More fun.
